Here I am returning the cans to my own studio space (on the right) at the end of a collection.

Participating in the Social Practice Workshop meant shared (smaller) studio space, which posed a considerable challenge for a project predicated on amassing large volumes of material.

After each collection, I sorted the contents of my bins into different boxes by category: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, brown, silver, gold, clear hard plastic, clear plastic film, opaque plastic, metal, wood, crumbled paper towel, large sheets of paper, white pieces of paper, small pieces of paper, test prints, cardboard, paint cans, etc. Here you can see boxes of sorted material from previous collections.
